Australia goes in to bat against Pakistan

Australia has won the toss and elected to bat first agains Pakistan at the SCG after there was a delayed start to the second Test.

The weather has been sombre as rain has delayed the start until 2pm.

Simon Katich has been ruled out because of injury with Hughes coming in to replace him.
