I would like to play AFL but don't know how many hours it takes?

Do you guys usually have 2 x 2 hour training sessions and then a game or how does it work?

I have also only played AFL once before but I am a competent kicker and can take a mark well and I am familiar with most game rules.

I am looking to join a club this year and not sure where to look as I have never lived in Sydney before.
Can anyone help?
Oh not sure what division would be best to go for?
I was playing 1st division seniors in Tassy before I left, but it has been 5 years so fitness will let me down a bit at the moment.
