Fuel Up Before The Big Game

Training and exercising before a big game is crucial to performing well and getting the edge over your competitors. But a lot of the time people aren't giving enough thought in what they eat and drink in the lead up to a big game or training session.

Hydration is crucial, as once you start you are going to lose a lot of fluids quickly, so drinking plenty of water in the hours before hand is very important. Once your body tells you that you are thirsty, it means you are already dehydrated, meaning that you are not performing at your optimum level.

Yep it's the Paleo diet or the raw meat diet.

Basically the logic is eat what our ancestors ate. Our ancestors 10,000 years ago.

Sydney Councils to charge Personal Trainers for using Parks

Sydney Councils have started to charge personal trainers a fee for the use of parks, sporting fields and beaches when training clients and fitness groups.
Leichardt Council will start charging an annual fee from $300-$1500 depending on the group size, following suit of the Waverley, Woollahra and Manly councils.

Personal trainers are now warning that they will have no choice but to pass these costs on to their clients.
